What Happened to You?
When you're out with someone who can walk, how often do strangers talk to them instead of you, and what's your move when that happens?
It's not really about how often strangers talk to them instead of you. It's more like this: you go off to do something, and then the strangers ask the person you're with, "What happened to him?"
Sometimes the person you're with knows. Sometimes they don't. So they should just ask you what happened. But they don't. They tend not to ask you. They wait until you're not there, or you step out for a second, and they ask your friend. I guess they think it's rude to ask what went wrong or whatever.
So how does it get back to you?
Usually it's, "Hey, excuse me, my friend over here wants to know what happened to you." And you tell them, man.
Majority of the time, people in chairs don't give a shit. They'll tell you what's wrong with them, or they'll tell you to mind your own f***ing business. One or the other. Those are the guys that give us a bad rap. But some of us are nice and have no trouble telling you what's wrong and what happened.
So the friend isn't the help desk.
Nope. Just ask us directly.
